Princess Maker 2

The game that would've been big here...

This here is Olive (or Marissa in my case). She is your daughter. A gift from the gods after helping save the Capital from Lucifon (Yes I spelt that correctly) and his demon army. Like the first Princess Maker, you take her as your own to love, school, and raise as your own in hopes of giving her a good life. However, in this game you have her from the ages of 10 to 18. I do believe there are about 70 endings to this game, but please don't hold me to that. <g>

There are (to this date) 9 (probably more!) editions to this particular game in Japan. They are: PC-9801, PC/AT, FM Towns, PC Engine, Macintosh, Windows (3.1), Win 95, Sega Saturn, and 3DO Real. There is an English beta floating around which is now abandon ware. I really wish they finished this game cause I hate earning my way to an ending only to read "Cannot find blah blah.txt" or something of that nature. There were rumours that people thought this game might be too racy for the American public and that it did not make women look good. I also thought of some more reason why this game would not go over well in the US, but I'll list them in my opinions page. I also have the Chinese version, but I haven't played that in a while.

Unlike the first Princess Maker game where you raise your child alone, you actually get help in PM2.This help comes in the form of cute little demon butler named Cube. Cube is also a young demon nobleman who'd rather be the butler to you The Hero. It never says if Cube fought in the demon army, or how The Hero and Cube met. We can only speculate and write fan fiction about that. Cube helps you by asking you questions in regards to raising your daughter whether it be in regards to schooling, work, vacation, and other things along the way on the path of your daughter growing up.
